How do I install this connector?
This is a "hammer-lock" style connector. You interlock the two halves through the chain links and use a hammer to peen over the securing pins until flush. Once set, the connection is permanent.
Will this pass through my windlass gypsy?
While designed to be as low-profile as possible, always test the connection manually before using it under power. It is designed to fit 10mm calibrated chains used in marine windlasses.
Note: Please verify your chain diameter (10mm) before purchasing. This is a permanent repair link and cannot be easily removed once installed.
